Match 1: St Thomas’ School (2) v Sevenoaks Primary School (3)
In our first match in the autumnal sunshine at Knole Academy we faced a very strong side. For quite a bit at the start of the match we had to do some solid defending. After a few minutes Hamish lobbed a great ball for Ben, and he did what he does best, and slotted the ball in the back of the net! Sevenoaks responded quickly having lots of chances and scored two goals. Harry made some outstanding saves to keep us in the game, with Cillian and Carl helping out in defence and Arthur playing really well and working hard to get back and cover their defence. Fortunately we bounced back scoring a goal to level the game. But with just a few minutes to go Sevenoaks scored. It was an unfortunate result but we still played a good game.
Most Valued Player: Harry for great goalkeeping.

Match 2: St Thomas’ (5) v Chevening School (0)
In our second game we took the lead early on with Ben scoring the opening goal and soon adding two more to get a hat-trick with Carl and Freddie holding them off in defence and before the second half we had scored two more goals. The second half was a different game, as Chevening pressed us and we found ourselves defending a lot more but Cillian and Hamish did a great job in defence and Arthur tracked back and put in some good tackles and also playing good balls to Carl and Ben. Freddie came back on and from a great pass did a great turn and was unlucky not to score. Harry once again pulled off great saves to keep a clean sheet. There were no goals in the second half but it was a great result.

Most Valued Player: Arthur for playing some great balls.
We all played really well and I hope that we have more good matches likes these ones.
