Working at St Thomas’

St Thomas’ Catholic School is a primary academy for students aged three to eleven. The academy forms part of Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership, a growing multi–academy Trust of 24 Catholic Schools located across the South East. The trust is committed to deliver outstanding spiritual, moral and learning outcomes for children and young people.

Set in the commuter market town of Sevenoaks, which not only has excellent road and rail links with London but offers its own social scene, St Thomas’ Catholic Primary School is part of three lively church communities.

Ofsted (2014) rated the school outstanding because “Teachers are adept and highly skilled at bringing the best out of their pupils”.

We are proud to offer:

  • A strong Catholic ethos
  • A genuine commitment to your development especially through the Multi-Academy Trust that gives our teachers great opportunities to collaborate with other schools and benefit from joint CPD opportunities
  •  A thorough induction programme
  •  A positive, enthusiastic staff who work extremely well together
  •  Happy, warm-hearted children who like to learn and have fun
  •  Supportive parents and governors
  •  A creative curriculum focused on developing children’s confidence, imagination and resilience
  •  An inclusive multi-lingual community
  • A commitment to your wellbeing

We are looking for teachers who are excited by the prospect of an “imaginative curriculum [that] opens pupils’ minds to possibilities”, and who can deliver a real impact within, and perhaps beyond, their own classroom to enable our school to grow even further.
