Catholic Life and Mission

Everyone is warmly welcomed at our school, you are greeted with kindness, care and compassion and respect. We hold our school values in high esteem as they have come directly from the Gospel Values.

The Catholic life of the school is rich in opportunities for children to encounter God and to deepen their relationship with Him as a loving, compassionate Father. Through prayer, liturgies and Religious Education lessons and through the relationships and support for each other, we enable children to come to know and love God. Displays of work in RE are of very high quality and can be seen in classrooms and all around the school, including the school's main reception area. Each class has a prayer focus area, with a liturgical cloth in the appropriate colour.

Pupil Leadership

Leading Lights and Mini Vinnies

These Y6 children make up our Chaplaincy Team helping develop Catholic life in school. They are in the Prayer Room on Tuesday lunchtimes to support quiet prayer for all the children.

Leading Lights

Isabel, Bella, Anya, Dolly, Charlotte, Florence - are, this term, supporting collective worship in school, leading Monday Celebration of the Word and helping children in other classes with their class celebration of the word.

Mini Vinnies

Auryn, Max, Bella, Sophie, Phoebe, Laura and Emily - are, this term, supporting charitable works in school.

School Eco-Council

These children are voted by their peers to represent ecology projects in school.

Recent Events

Butterfly Assembly

The school raised over £230 for the Butterfly Conservation Trust. Well done and thank you to everyone on the School Eco-Council who organised this event.

Education Sunday

The children sang at 09:15 Mass to celebrate all that St Thomas' offers to the children of the parish.
