Our focus text is Mr Gumpy's Outing.  We designed and made our own boats.  We also created a river outside and built buildings along side and bridges to go across.

We have been making our own re-cycled seed pots from cardboard tubes.  We have been planting different flower and vegetable seeds.  We are waiting excitedly to see them grow.

We have created our own maps.  They show a painted river journey, just like Mr Gumpy's.  We then added different features to our maps.  We decided that some of the features had been made by people, and some were natural.  We have used our journey maps to re-tell and create new story ideas.

We looked at different images of Georgia O'Keeffe's work.  First we made pencil drawings on paper of close up images of different flowers.  We then chose our favourite flower shape tp put onto our canvas.  Then we painted our canvas using bold colours.
