Each year, St Thomas' sends some Year 5 and 6 children to participate in the A.I.M High Maths Day. 

Our children performed very well, receiving comments about their determination, enthusiasm and ability. Well done! 

What is A.I.M. High? 

A tailored high quality, aspirational and deepening learning experience for children to be able to – Achieve, Inspire and Master. A.I.M. High days provide a wonderful opportunity for children to delve deeper and master greater challenges.

Focusing on Mathematical Mastery - children are presented with a range of challenges that will allow them to use and apply the skills they have learned. Some of the challenges are from other countries and cultures, demonstrating the universal nature of mathematics.

The activities cover a range of number operations including early algebra and BODMAS. A very challenging shape activity will also be covered.
