Jon came back yesterday with his head full of science experiments, and immediately started crushing up our satsumas to make a dye so he could do some kind of absorption test.

Just to say he really enjoyed his science lesson yesterday and it inspired him, like all his school days do.

'Our school environment is so supportive; caring and unique and I feel so lucky to be part of it! We have had such a positive experience with the school and I think the teachers should be commended for the incredible effort they put into caring for our children.'

I just wanted to thank all the staff involved in today’s nativity. It was a fantastic production, against all the odds, and Elizabeth and I really enjoyed ourselves. We’re all looking forward to seeing the filmed production in the new year!

Having been a parent at St Thomas’s for over 6 years, I have been consistently impressed by the school. Not least by the excellent quality of education, but also the fantastic and highly professional staff who always go above and beyond to ensure that each child has their individual needs met. My children are happy to go into school each morning, and are lucky to take part in range of interesting and challenging educational activities every week! There is wonderful sense of community, fostered by regular communication to the parents; as such we feel very much part of the ‘school family’. I am very grateful that my children are able to thrive in this wonderful environment. Thank you St Thomas’!

Parents and teachers

Parents are encouraged to have regular contact with their child’s class teacher. In the afternoon staff accompany their class to the playground and you are welcome to speak to the teacher on an informal basis there.  If required, appointments can be made at a mutually convenient time with any member of staff, who can be contacted through the school office.
