Spring

We visited Sevenoaks Bookshop as part of our World Book Day celebrations.

We had a great day exploring the wonderful paintings in the National Gallery in London - and learned some techniques by copying pictures by Van Gogh and Seurat.

We have enjoyed working with the drama teacher and students from Sevenoaks School on drama techniques leading to a performance of The Mousehole Cat by Antonia Barber.

Our science topic is Forces and we investigated which shoes provide the best friction. We used Newton meters to measure the force needed to pull the shoe.

We are excited to be taking part in The Economist's Topical Talk Festival 2024 discussing subjects such as A.I., Women in Work, Eco-Anxiety and many more.

In P.E this term, we have been working on different fitness challenges including long distance running. It turns out we have lots of great gymnasts too!
