Summer

We wrote information texts about the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

We are very proud of our 2D to 3D animal creations based on the work of Lubaina Himid.

Year 6 went to Down House, home of Charles Darwin, to learn more about the man himself and about his Theory of Evolution.

Year 6 celebrated the end of term, and end of the exams, with an afternoon of rounders and never-ending-IT.

This week we combined art with maths, creating beautiful parabolic curve designs.

Our topic in geography this term has been Microclimates. We have been out and about in Sevenoaks looking at the human and physical features that create microclimates.

Congratulations to our Year 6 football team for winning the Kemsing Football Tournament!

We have been lucky enough this term to have the wonderful GCSE and A-level students from Sevenoaks School coming to teach us French.

Year 6 had great fun this week using Micro-bits in computing. They coded their program before transferring it to the micro-bits. They loved seeing their creations come to life.

Dodging the rain drops in cricket today!
